The Ronald Moerings Foundation (RMF) and Royal Lemkes are joining forces to create a... to create a green oasis in the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (AvL), the hospital and research institute specialized in cancer. Dozens of scientific studies confirm the power of plants. In the healthcare environment, greenery offers advantages in relation to the recovery and well-being of patients and visitors (https://degroenestad.nl/).

Tomorrow, May 18, is World Plant Day! That is why today, with this initiative, we are calling for extra attention to the power of plants in the healthcare environment.
As a symbolic start to our multi-year collaboration, last Wednesday the reception desks within the AvL were provided with orchids from Opti-flor and the outdoor gardens with lavender from van der Salm.
